After participating in an interactive PowerPoint, the students found a magazine picture and wrote four different types of sentences about the picture.  The students were able to look through magazines to find a picture they thought was interesting.  Once the students found a picture they were asked to write four sentences about the picture they chose.  The types of sentences the student were required to write were declarative, interrogative, imperative, and exclamatory. When all of the students were finished, we put all of them on display in the hallway.
